Notice of  meeting :

Holy Cross Community Hall

(just round the corner on Aldred St)

Come along if you have anything you’d like to improve in the area. We have plans

for further reducing the fly tipping, a mural or planters on the wall at the bottom of Winifred Street, and the same for the back of Winifred Street on the green. We’d also like to run activity clubs for the kids in the summer holidays. Please let us know if there’s anything you want to change or be involved in.

PLUS we need help. The three of us that have been running the group are a bit tired, Myself and Terry are waiting for various operations, but Debbie (no. 24) is raring to go and has offered to chair the group.

We need help with:

• Planning the next street party
• Organizing the gardening group
• Organizing a litter pick
• Appointing a Treasurer

Planning the next street party In the past the street party has been very last minute. We thought it might be a good idea to plan a good few months ahead.

Appointing a Treasurer. Right now, we don’t have a bank account, so the Treasurer will mainly keep track of how we spend money from the Salford CVS Holding Account.

We have 3 meetings each year, plus a big AGM meeting. In between, we have casual meetings over coffee and communicate via WhatsApp.

Kids welcome, there’s plenty of space for them to play and our meetings are pretty informal 😀
